The ancient traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony evolved into an important social and recreational activity over thousands of years. Tea is formally prepared by an expert and served to small groups.
Green tea is a light flavored tea that has been known to have medicinal qualities. It has gone through minimal processing or oxidations and is very popular in many parts of the world today.
